If the computer is drawing from the same pool of hot air it is emitting then the fans will not be doing the job you hope for, especially if the back of the cupboard drawer he has removed is up against or very adjacent to a wall or corner of a room. I guess it depends a lot on Larry's room temperature and position of the cupboard </font>

John-saves me buying a phase change cooling system I suppose - thus saving £400 :D

You could always put a duct to the heatsink on your exhaust fan. That would give the CPU a nice cool and your intake would do the job for the rest of the case.
