Powertoys is a program that gives your Win XP flexibility and extra customization. There's an option there...

No, no password if you signed in automatically.

Yes, you would still have a password with automatic logon.

Try this sometime: disable powertoys, remove your password, reboot. If there's only one account, Windows XP logs you in automagically.

Seriosuly? But if you sign in automatically... then it doesn't ask for your password. So in effect, you don't really have one.

Meaning, you can still lock your computer or switch user, and in those cases you will need to explicitly provide your password. It might seem more than a little ridiculous, but some people have alot of use for this behavior.
