Johnny, you should really try and get a hold of Epona, maybe through PM or email. She's the IWs bird expert, knows an awful lot about them. I've heard her talk about this topic before. Good luck with your birdie! (man that sounds weird :D )

This is too easy. Just take the egg and crack it to show the little birdie that there's nothing inside. Then it'll be aaaall better. I know, I know, "Timber, you're a GENIUS!! Why didn't I think of that?"

I've learned two things today though...

1- "In mei leggen alle vogels een ei" just blew up in my face. :D

2- At least now i know it's a female bird, it's kinda hard to tell with these animals.

I should probably change it's name as well, Henkie isn't very feminin. :D

Lol, Johnny, rename it Tweetie or something, and teach it to quote tweetie bird... "I tink I taw a pootie tat, I did I did!" :D

Replace the egg with...

(a)An egg shaped stone.
(b)A real egg...preferably of the ostrich variety.
(c)A ping-pong ball.

Alternatively add a little alcohol to its water or whatever...than when it's suitably intoxicated (I.E. it's flying into the sides of the cage, chirping at the top of it's voice, urinating in the corner of the cage, falling over, etc) replace the egg with a baby chick...preferably of the ostrich variety.

:D

I dunno to be honest. Quite a problem you got on your hands gramps!

Johnny, well that is the perfect excuse for being a lazy crap and not cleaing it out, gives you a bit of extra time to finish that beer...maybe you should buy it a mate or something :D

Pour liquid helium on the bird, thus freezing it. Remove the egg and allow the bird to thaw, and voi la!

Trust me, two birds of that kind in the same room is the last thing on earth you want. One can make a lot of noise, two will drive you insane.

Yeah... knowing also the fact that they're getting some and you aren't... hehe :D
