I understand loving a pet dearly. I always put people before animals though. Quite frankly, they were not particularly smart to bring a dog to that area in the first place. You should keep pets and children away from areas with deadly hazards as a matter of responsibility. I see the park as careless also. The fact that the dangerous areas are open to the public and do not have a fence around them baffles and maddens me! So many lives over the years could have been saved by such a simple and cheap thing as fencing! :mad:

exactly, I honestly never even thought about hot springs as being dangerous, we have some here and although I have never gone to one, I never really thought that it got that hot, so it is not really carelessness but more of not knowing the true dangers there are
