Although possible, faulty RAM is more likely to cause random screens and exception errors.
Knowing a little of Stormy's history with computers I'm betting on a virus and/or worm of some sort. :D |

Well, you forgot to mention the crash part!
Before you do anything rash, I'd suggest re-installing all of your drivers including your motherboard drivers and a re-install of DX9 wouldn't hurt either. If it happened just after a crash, I'd be willing to bet that some system files or driver librarys are corrupt. EDIT: Go find a program called memtest on the web. Or you can try the majorgeeks site and get Fresh Diagnose. I've been using it for a few months and it's a great program. Neat little gadget to have around.
