With Gmail i registered for my courses and payed for them in less than 3 hours time!

With hotmail it had taken 4 days and nothing had even happened yet except an occasional "We can't help you we're only deans" [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I think it depends on whether your individual hotmail account is screwed up or not, because while Ilander's doesn't seem to be working for him, I've never once had a failed or delayed e-mail. I do notice that hotmail is bad with attachments though, on two levels. Firstly, it takes forever for an outgoing attachment to arrive, and also, you're only given 2mb space, which makes it rough on the receiving end as well.

I use hotmail, but only for the instant messaging ;)
