Thanks guys, I finally figured most of it out as I went along, lol. I found a green bow from that named bowman but yeah it has -15 armor or something on it. Otherwise it's nice damage. Gamewiki...why didn't I think of that? Cheers, TDC.

I am having alot of fun in GW atm, finally getting time to play for a few days. Despite the in-game helpstones (which are great btw) the system takes some getting used to. I'm still playing my assassin, talk about damage. I took monk to balance out the defense (yes, I know everyone is an A/M but oh well). Currently level 8, I usually team with a friend or go solo but can't wait to move on to bigger things, check out the main quests and instances etc. Any other suggestions for my first char in Factions?

I have an A/Mo and instead of using healing to out heal the damage taken I use protection spells to stop it before it htis me. it is working really well.

My advice, stay on Shing Jea as long as possible. Level up and get the collector armour if possible to save cash.

This is a good tactic, one I discovered yesterday. It seemed I was healing myself 25-50% of fights so it got old fast so I am trying prevention rather than cure.

Hey, do you have any pics of the old beta UI you spoke of? I never took part so don't know what it looks like. The current UI is nicely streamlined and simple but almost too simple...could use some art or style IMHO.
