I think Hunter is the funnest class in the game. It is what I was gonna try next. I am only level 15 though, lol so if there is some horrible shift in quality-of-life for Hunters let me know now please. I already went through it with Paladin :( . Serious question.

Hunters were fine before 1.7 patch, but most hunters went BM/MM/SV 0/31/20. Now we have a whole variety of talent choices.

I've had fun from level 1 to 52, although grinding for a costume I need for a party in the Deadmines is no fun whatsoever. *sigh* Damn Feign Death resists.

Overall I'd say you want to play a hunter, go play one and have fun!

Yeah, I think it rocks. So many cool abilities too. Beats swing + rebuff at least :D . I also love the whole taming pets thing, you can find all kinds of different beasts to tame which adds to customization - not to mention the rare/elite pets you can nab. That, plus the fact that you can have multiple pets, rename 'em and now customize their abilities is great. Atop that your own char has his own stunts he can pull, from tracking to eye of the beast which I really think makes Hunter one of the most appealing classes in WoW. May explain why there's so many NE hunters running around.
