[img]graemlins/spam3.gif[/img] er!!! anyway, I am still waiting to find out if we are going to get her next week or not, so far things are looking good [img]smile.gif[/img] I have to go to the girls school tuesday to have a 6 month recap on them, what fun that will be, yes the girls are in a day care/pedeatric school to help them improve. since Skyler was a premie, and both were under weight, the doctor feels it will help them. they seem to like going, and I get most of the day off :D

By how much was Skyler a premie and underweight? Reason I ask is that I was both as well. Five weeks early and about 5.5 pounds (now I'm chronically late and 170 pounds [img]smile.gif[/img] ). No problems now, but apparently I almost suffocated because my lungs weren't developed enough at the time of birth.

Not sure if you're worried about the premie/underweight thing. If you are, try not to be. It shouldn't be anything to worry about. But daycares are helpful, as they are often good for giving kids a head start on dealing with other children.

Hey, that was me. As you might have guessed, Piestrider is with us for the summer. :D

Skyler was 6 weeks early and wieghed 5 lbs and 3 ounces, Caleb was worse though he was born 16 weeks early and only weighed 1 lb 14 1/2 ounces

I did not think A 5.5 pound baby was a premie. We were told anything under 5 pounds. But I guess it would depend on the development of the baby.

Well I am so sore from doing all the sod work yesterday. I can hardle bend over and put my socks on. LOL

Stormy, your kids were EARLY! How old are they now?

caleb is 5, almost 6, skyler is 3 going on 30, and destiny is 2 going on 40 ;)

it does depend on the delvelopment, skyler was ok, but she had a few problems keeping her temp up when she was an infant, destiny was on time, just a little under weight, but she was really long at 21 inches [img]graemlins/wow.gif[/img]

actually weight has NOTHING to do with premie. a premie is born before 37 weeks gestation. small or not.
