LennonCook, Explorer goes kaput in normal mode, so there is no Start menu, and the windows key on the keyboard does nothing. The option goes MIA in safe mode.

I can't afford to buy a new OS, cause they're expensive, I thought about it trust me, I wanted to get Windows 2000, but its like <font color="green"><u>$320</u></font> for it... stupid microsoft being a monopoly... Urgh, problem solved. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Using my aunt's com made me treasure my com that much more. I wish I was back home now using it... oh well, at least my sister's laptop has a wireless cable connection. :D :D :D :D

Currently running a Disk Cleanup and Defragmenter on my aunt's com. Will do a Windows Update when its' done.

I saw that in your first post, Dundee. Not having an ME machine around here any more, I didn't recall if it truly wasn't there, or if it was called something other than MS-DOS mode (like command prompt). My apologies for reading too much between the lines.

Glad you've got it cleaned up. I take it that using the boot disk got you through? Or was it an OS reinstall?
