Lesser restoration only cures the level drains. The greater restoration cures all things like poison and diseases, cures level drain and heals the character (or whole party in a temple). However, casting greater restoration is very tiring and the caster must rest
(immediately?) after casting it. The manual says that the caster remains tired a couple of days despite of resting (I don't know sure how long or if it's really used in the game cause I only use lesser restoration).

Another bug in my game then, even with the patch. Greater Restoration SAYS it makes the character tired, but when I use it all it does is deal some damage to the character and that's that. Even if it did fatique them you could use Draw on Holy Might to beef you Strength and Constitution until its safe to rest. Doesn't matter anyway because there's almost never a situaion where you really NEED the added benefits of "Greater" over "Lesser", and those high level spell slots are oh so important for actual combat.</font>[/QUOTE]... Greater Restoration DOES damage? I find that hard to believe.. Maybe if you said Lesser Restoration, then that might be plausible (For example, restored max hit points make it look like you took damage)but GR heals you. Also, I only need to rest 8 hours to become un-fatigued after any restoration spell.. yet when I buy it at a temple whoever the target was has to rest. Bug, probably.
