This story is in my general area (within 15 miles). What you didn't hear is that the idiot who owned them, who left them alone after being injured from trying to keep the tiger from eating his kitty cat, gave a telephone interview in which he tried to justify his ownership of the beasts.

He came off as a complete Loon by shouting things like "See? see how healthy he is? My tiger is healthier than those in Zoos. I didn't mistreat my tiger..." He was in total denial that a dorm-room sized apartment was not sufficient space for his animals. He kept on harping that he loved animals and that it 'wasn't his fault that he couldn't afford a bigger place to live'.

Does anyone else see the irony that this stupid goon is alive & healthy while Roy of 'Siegfried & Roy' is in intensive care?

yeah some people are just plain stupid. Looks like a lot of tigers are acting up lately look what happened to roy horn of seigfried and roy.

Well.... At the very least, I'm sure it deterred theft! :D
