Every car mentioned here is a, load of rubbish.
It's true. It's nice to have a super-fast, super-powered sports car, but the price you pay is feeling like you're sitting in an aircraft cockpit. No boot space. No people space. No comfort. Wouldn't it be better to have a car from one of the most prestigious car-makers ever, that is the height of luxury inside, is 4-wheel drive, yet can go from 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, and top out at 200mph? On top of this, it looks great inside and out, and comes with a history of superlative performance, comfort and luxury? Oh, and combine this with the reputation of the precision-engineering typical of german-build quality. The car? A Bentley. Yep, that's it - the Rolls Royce alternative. The Bentley Continental GT loks beautiful, sounds beautiful, has sports car performance, and inside you don't feel like you're trying to fit your entire body into a jelly bean. Full leather interior, ultimate comfort. Who needs to spend £600,000 on a loud, uncomfortable Ferrari F50 that sounds like an explosion in a fireworks factory as soon as you touch the gas pedal? Pfah! Instead, go for the far cheaper, infinitely more comfortable £90,000 Bentley. Yeah, you won't get it in red. yeah, you'll miss out on saying "I have a ferrari". Yeah, you'll read 60mph anout half a second slower, and not be able to go above 200mph. Yeah, you'll save half a million quid, and get what I consider to be a far better car. Anyone who pays for a Ferrari F50 is paying half a million quid for the name. Anyone who pays less than £100,000 for a Bentley is getting £100,000 worth of car. You get a sports car's performance, with the luxury inherent in Bentley's name. No contest. http://www.bentleymotors.co.uk/minis...inentalgt.html |
You don't buy supercars to drive them, you buy them to collect them.
