Suffice to say she is great to talk to, has a great sense of humour, enjoys video games, and she's easy on the eyes too. We've been friends for four years and she also rows which completes the perfect package

I'm a happy chappy :D

I think that it is awesome if a girl plays video games. For me it is just one more level in which i can talk to her about. if she like the some games i do we never run out of things to talk about.

Well, I wasn't asking for bragging or gossip. ;)
It sounds like you get along very well and like she's a great girl, I'm happy for you Sigmar!

Anyway, back on topic...
I think these members make/made up a substantial part of our posts here, and I think they all play(ed) computer games.

Epona, Moiraine, Cloudbringer, LadyZ, Draconia, Lady Avalon, Aelia Jusa, Wyvern, Reeka, Lioness, Adam Warlock, Willow, Kaz, Bilqis, Charean, Galadria, Kaltia, Lady Blue.
Especially on the blue board, there was a pretty good balance between men and women.

Anyway, I just thought it was a weird comment to make on a forum with SO many female gamers. I mean, just think of how many female members we have here... as I said we're in the minority, but not as badly as to merit being called rare.

well if you say rare, it amkes that person feel special. *i'm special!*
and as for the hobbies of the girls in my area, is being a slut a hobby? it seems to be the favorite passtime around here. luckily i've managed to meet one of the only non-slutty girls around here .
Sorry for spamming up the thread but I just want to point out that I was only joking regarding the gossip and bragging comments :D And thanks again.

I'm female and been playing games (all sorts) for, oooh, around 15 years? I started with a Commadore 64 I got as a birthday present, then an amstrad, then we got our first PC. It's usually been RPG and Adventure games (Eye of the Beholder II and Monkey Island being the two first PC Games I got addicted to). I dont really dig consoles much, we have a playstation, which rocks for Spiro, Bomberman and Diablo, and thats it. True gaming gets don on the computer ;)

Isn't that quote in your sig from Baldur's Gate? If I remember correctly, it's what some children say if you click on them, right?

Nonsense, the true reason all the aforementioned ladies kept coming back there was not their interest in computer games but the fact I am so incredibly good looking.
