Started drinking at 16, and smoking at 25 (ie old enough to know better :rolleyes: )

Never personally smoked but my mother smoked 3 packs a day and burned the house down more than a half dozen times - seems that might be where I get my asthma!

Started drinking at 15. At 16, I got a stool with my name on it after winning a drinking contest at a local bar (if my sons ever do that, I'll ground them until they are 21 [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img] ). Joined the military at 17... made one comment I never should have made under the influence at 22 and never drank at a social function after that! I do still drink in the confines of my home and with friends though!

I had my first 6 beer at 16.

Me and a friend planned it because my parents were out. For some reason my dad stayed home so we went to the park to drink. The rain poored then we came home and tried to pretend not to be drunk, don't think dad noticed, went downstairs and played Nintendo.

It was only occassional thing though because my parents only gave my an allowance of $2/week, they new that kids who got quit a bit more speant the money on booze.

We also use to take my Dad's wiskey and then water it down. I eventually got caught though when it started to taste like water. :D

I actually don't drink much any more, I have an occasional beer or wine on occasion.

Never smoked.

started drinking at 13, and have never smoked in my life. just never felt the need and my friends never pressured me to start. I don't drink very often since I can't really afford to but I don't have a problem with people smoking or drinking, whatever you wanna do is your choice.

My entire family smokes, I won't be one of them. I've done neither anyway.

Never did, and don't intend to change that.
