Dave, that's good to hear :D Heard of it, though? Spent a while thinking about what you'd like and I thought this might be to your taste. Haven't read it myself either but I have it from a reliable source (Seb) ;) Anyway, I have yet to send it so if you think it's not your cup of tea, I'll think a bit harder ;)
I have read Perdido Street Station actually, a few months ago, and was pleasantly surprised... very pleasantly surprised in fact. I would have put a review of it and some other books on Panda hadn't I been too busy, but I will ASAP. Bit of a nasty surprise in the end of it :( but apart from that it was very well-written, original, immensely exciting (nerve-wrecking at times in fact) and with a great plot. Very fun read, so *HUGS* and thank you again!!
