Well, I haven't exactly gotten around to sealing off a room, and wonder how I would as I have floor-to-ceiling windows in every room.
But, duct tape rocks. Any good southerner knows that the only two tools you need are duct tape and WD40. You see, if it moves and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD40. :D |
As long as the windows are closed, you're fine. :D
The idea is to keep biological and chemical agents out of the air you breath. |
There are two essentials in life Duct tape and W-D 40. Duct tape to keep things from moving that aren't 'spose to, and W-D 40 to get thing to move that are 'spose too. :D
Edit: I posted before I saw your'n T.L. I knew there was something I liked about you. [ 02-13-2003, 06:24 PM: Message edited by: John D Harris ] |
Hmmm. Able to fix anything? Well, I don't know about anything, but I had an Oldsmobie Omega one year (back in 93)and my ex-wife got into an accident with it. Luckily, it wasn't bad. It tore off the bumper post on the driver side and also broke the headlight fixture. Well, I couldn't afford getting it fixed properly, but did have some duct tape. I just wrapped it around and around the bumper to the frame. It held for a long time. I also used it to hold the headlight in. That wasn't as good a fix, cause if I hit a bumpy road, the light would angle up some. It made for some hilarious moments. It looked like I was spotlighting the sky for a plane attack back from the 40's or something. LOL. I would stop the car and gently push it back into place. Good for another 50,000 miles. I never did replace the fixture. Just kept driving on the duct tape repair.

Duct Tape is one half of the "only tools you need in your tool box"
They are Duct tape and WD-40 If it moves and it shouldn't, duct tape to hold it in place. If it doesn't move, but it should, WD-40 to loosen it up. |

Can anyone give me some advice. If I can only have two tools in my house what should I choose. Ideally I'd like something to stop things moving that shouldn't move and something to get things moving that should move.

ROFL well done Donut :D i'm sure there is an answer posted here somewhere
If "Why duct tape" is the question, then surely "because the hamster will split otherwise" is the answer... . [ 02-14-2003, 05:48 AM: Message edited by: wellard ] |
This may sound like a very stupid question but what in Gods name is duct tape. What do we call it in OZ. Anybody know?
