Huh wha??? I think history says they haven't beaten us in what, over 20 years isn't it? ;)

Oh bloody hell, Beattie's playing. One of my housemates is a Soton supporter, we'll never hear the end of it if he scores...

In Tennis, Rugby and Cricket England have won the last matches between the two countries. Will our winning streak come to an end?

I'm amazed that people are getting up early to watch this match. I doubt I'll bother watching it at all. In fact I think I'll use the time to wash my hair!

Masklinn 02-12-2003 08:40 AM

Waaaah 1h45 to wash your hair ?!
Do you wash them one by one or what ?!

:D

What was that about winning the last cricket match - Cough Cough VB Series Cough ;) .

LOL - good one Masklinn - I think it more likely he will be hiding in the bathroom afraid to come out - that is, he will be if "the unthinkable" happens tonight ;)

I'm sure donut and friends have their list of excuses already worked out. One of them being that it was just a friendly so it dont count. :D Or it was just a trail game to give the youngsters a run, not a serious match at all

Come on ENGLAND! Come on ENGLAND! :D

Yeah, it seems that we're just using this as a training match. Rooney...well, he might get a goal, but I doubt it. He is far too young IMHO. That said, I think the score will come to England 2 Oz 1.

Serious now, i think Oz has some pretty good players, but experience plays an important role in this, and that's something the Aussies lack. Sure... they might beat England, but i think the Brits must have a total off day when that happens.

Btw, Holland is playing Argentina tonight, that could be a good match as well.

It sounds like a cracker. was it 74 or 78 that they both played the world cup final? I remember the holland team from the 70's what a classic line up. I screamed myself hoarse for holland to win that world cup :( . I hope they win tonight Johnny.

Ps what is your prediction for both matches?

wellard 02-12-2003 01:55 PM

Match kicks off in 5 mins. Judging from the poor response from our colonial masters they must be frightened, nervous, on the toilet with nerves ect.

But no doubt after the match they will be full of bluster " piss and wind" as they say :D

Still i predict 2-0 to england, but with australia playing well in the second half.
