Kids now-a-days Attalus...with their hippity hoppity rubbish and their weird lingo.

What happened to the good old days of sitting outside your house and sharing a few lols with your friends?

I tell you we're a dying breed you and I...soon they won't even rely on text emotions..they'll use those new fangled emoticons for everything, there'll be one in every post 10 years from now mark my words.

Yep,yep, yep *sips beer and tugs at his jacket*

yeah PSO-world had its own language too. With words like "Wall hugging", "fanimation", and "X-boxers". It also had misdemeaning terms like "Fo Sheezy" and "Be A Berry". TSFO SnApple Alone coined 200 terms all about cats, ranging from "Nyan Co" to "Cactus Fish!" to "Mrruckit"

And what would some of those mean? :D </font>
Let me have a go at them

Wall hugging- Where a character hugs the wall (is very close to the wall in a game such as in CS)
Fanimation- Isn't that an anime company?
X-boxers- Someone who has an X-Box and plays that X-box
Fo Sheezy- Something to do with cheese? :D
Be A Berry- errr...ummm...relating to berries?

Congrats Attalus ;)

Actually, most boards have their own vernacular. What you term spamming here, is called flapping on another board I am on.

It depends on what the community of the board comes up with.

LOL is laugh out loud, LMAO is laughing my ass off. I'd imagine that LLAO is something similar.

Night Stalker 01-13-2003 07:55 PM

Hehehe LOL!

LLAO is an irreverent inside joke refering to a certain moderator and is very similar to LMAO - Laughing L's A Off.
