Your mage wouldnt happen to be Edwin would he? Im having the same problem, I just figure the Projected Image doesnt get the extra 2 spells per level that Edwin does. Edwin's PI gets all the spells except the last 2 slots in each level.

Also having a problem with Edwin since Hell, he cannot gain any benefit from boots of speed. Ive even had him running around naked but for the boots and still nothing. He gets the haste icon but no extra speed. He can be slowed, and when hasted with spells he runs fast, just not with the boots of speed. No other character has this problem. Last patch and Baldurdash as well, and before you ask no he doesnt wear any items of Free Action, never has.

that's a known bug with edwin, it's a result of his gender bender quest, try baldudash for a bugfix

Speaking of Edwin, I used him a couple of times, and each time, no gender-bending took place. Got the Scroll, said the "part treasure" bit, waited, rested, rested again, went questing, waited, rested again, nada. No presto-changeo. Is this a common/known bug, and would a Baldurdash patch fix it?

<font color="lawngreen" face="trebuchet MS">I think it must have something to do with your wisdom or something.... because Edwin has a reasonably low Wis IIRC... and some of my mages/sorc's have had low wisdoms and this has happened... </font>

Eh? WIS has nothing to do with Project Image. I have used this spell with Edwin before and never encountered any problems. I am guessing it is just a bug.

Eh? Well, he was referring to PC Mages as well as other Mage NPCs, so I am under the impression that he is referring to the spell Project Image.

Irregardless, Edwin's WIS will not affect his personal quest either. Dialogue options however, is another thing.
