None...don't believe in 'em. Why make just because you rewind the calendar?

Well, when else would you set goals for yourself in the coming year?
*that sounded oddly like Dr. Phil*
*shudders*

1. get in shape
2. Be there for those who need me
3. try to post more intelligently here (yeah right, emphasise on the *try*)
4. drink more (only got drunk 3 times this year... am I getting old?)
5. excel at school and work

1: Kill Osama bin laden if he isnt already dead

2: Get a FanClub

3: Start wearing little yellow-tinted glasses with bent frames and spiked hair with a large red trenchcoat.

4: get in shape to fit into the trenchcoat.

5: Spike my hair and dye it blonde.

I think most people see it as symbolic of a fresh start, a chance to clean the slate and do better than you've done before, or continue doing well and not fall into bad habits etc. Of course, resolutions are only useful if you actually carry through with them. Last year a radio station I listen to had a number of people call in and say what their resolutions were, then checked up on them at various intervals throughout the year. I think the most important thing with any goal is to be accountable for it and be able to follow up and make sure you've been doing it.

Anyway it's already 2003 here, so my resolutions are to worry less, have more faith in my convictions and abilities, and be less concerned with what other people think. I'll try anyway

Now that sounds cool. Are you getting the new look thing from an anime show?

New Year's resolutions aren't really a big tradition up here, so I don't make them. If I'd make some goals for 2003, however, it would have to be:
1. Spend more time at homework (even though my grades still are among the best in the class )
2. Start working out again
3. Reach 5000 posts :D (EDIT: speaking of this, I just reached 4200. Yay! :D )
