Just thought of this:

If your a devout Christian who believes in God, Jesus and everything in the bible, then your "love"( :D ) of this woman, doesn't that make you ineligble for heaven as you are loving someone who follows another religion? Even though you don't, you are accepting her belief of this God, meaning you are accpeting it, and the commandment says something like : though shall not accept other gods.

I'm just askin, as I don't know. I aint that religious

Humanity is by nature warlike. You don't want war? Dehumanise humanity!

Guess what I did tonight?

tonight I was at a very wonderful dinner with a stunningly beautiful, intelligent, creative, passionate and spiritual ISLAMIC WOMAN from Morrocco. Yep. Hardcore Christian me, had an amazingly wonderful time with a hardcore Morroccan Muslim.

It was awesome, and yes we spoke about religion in much depth, without anger, hate, fear or disharmony. It was a beautiful, respectful, thought provoking exchange, and we both kept our minds and ears open.

Praise God.

please define terms:

hardcore?
If she was hardcore muslim, what was she doing...
a) eating in public
b) speaking with a man not her husband or father or designated male relative?
c) etc., etc.,

BUT, the most important info you left out... is she SINGLE?..get her ph#?

enquiring minds want to know... ;)

If everyone chatted with Larry once in a while the world would be a better place.

Actually, I don't know of any mainstream Christian denomination that forbids marrying, much less dating, much less talking to, anyone of another faith. St. Paul's "Be ye not yoked with unbelievers" was another time, another place.

This is what Paul said:

Quote:

1 Corinthians 7:14
To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.

For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

The religious stuff goes over my head.

You know that stuff off by heart?

Erm, so you are allowed to marry non-believers, and your children will be fine, but will your partner still be dirty or are they cleansed? Even though they dnt believe?
