Well, it does take several years to craft a significant magic weapon like carsomyr or lilarcor. Unless your a god in which case it merely takes months. Come back in a decade, there'l be plenty of them around.

That would be a good mod. You do a great big quest, some dude steals one of your weapons, maybe gets turned into undead or something magical happens to him, antway the power is so strong it breaks the weapon. You get the weapon pieces and the dude's blood (you have to kill him) and anything else I can think of (beljuril, rogue stone, scroll of wail of the banshee, crap like that) and take the stuff to Cromwell, reforges it, and it gets turned into a weapon +4 named after you. Cool, huh?
