PS2 all the way. But don't forget the multi-functionality. The PS2 and the X-Box will play music cds and dvds, something that Game cube does not do. Though I heard you have to buy the remote to play dvds on the X-Box.

And whats wrong with being a re-boxed PC? It means that all the big PC developers have a platform they already know how to develop for, which is why the x-box should have a massive advantage.

You know PC developers can port games to other consoles as well. So I don't think Microsoft has a major advantage if any. There aren't many titles *solely* for the X-box. So it won't be on my wish list. And also just because a company *can* make new games for a console, doesn't mean they *will*. There are going to be way to many ports, and all are pretty pointless when you can just buy the PC version. That's what i'm getting at.
