Actually, if I were you I'd wait for a while with buying a DVD/CDR combo. They're relatively very expensive though yet still a bit in its experimental phase. Those who had a regular CD-ROM burner 6 years ago will probably get my point; expect lots of failures if you're going for the cheapest ones, or pay a small fortune for a decent one which will be completely obsolete in 2 years anyways.
