I got it to work

I had to Unistall the computer game and so on. It took all that time to install the game again but I got him to move at least so it is all good now.

roll up a new character (try to get as high a roll as possible, and make sure you have a high dexterity) and go through the "tutorial." it is kinda boring, and kinda irritating, but it is very helpful. Prepare to die a lot once you reach the surface. Everybody dies a lot until they get the hang of things. Just take your time, plan everything carefully, and play on the lowest difficulty setting.

By the way, the reason BGII runs a bit slower than W&W is that BGII is an INCREDIBLY massive and comprehensive game. There are NPC and other interactions left and right, and tons of dialogs change with your alignment, sex, class, race, wisdom, intelligence, charisma, etc. It may take a little while to get into the game, but once you're hooked, it's great. This game has some of the best replay value i've ever seen.

(oh yeah, and beginner players should use some type of fighter, ranger, paladin, monk, or barbarian instead of a thief or spellcaster. They are MUCH easier to play, and are beginner-friendly. [img]smile.gif[/img] )
