I also recommend Minority Report by Steven Spielberg with Tom Cruise. I was expecting it to be an action movie, but it did have a good mystery twist to it.

If you haven't seen the movie, 1) why not lol and 2) how can you do all of what you tried to explain with disk two that totally confused me!

I don't have it on dvd but my son's girlfriend has an original copy of the screenplay (a gift from a relative with connections). Lucky girl! My son said it is an interesting a read at it is a movie.

basically i just haven't seen it yet, i want to tho. but disc 2 has no actual menu. you have to go through a series ofquestions to find the bonus material, and then you only find one oe two peices at a time. very confusing.

sounds like it! (confusing)

Well if you have the movie on dvd, go make some popcorn and grab your drink of choice! You are really missing out! :D

Hugh, that is a fantastic film! I saw it when it was first released here and was rendered speechless by it.

I love the way it is filmed - short clips, fits in with him discovering his notes and makes you feel like you are the one with amnesia!

Glad you enjoyed it

Insomnia was pretty weak. But you should check out Christopher Nolan's first film, Following. It is nearly as good as Memento.

Loved that movie! Saw it when I was still working at Blockbuster.
The scene when the girl (forget the char.'s name) went to her car, waited a minute and then came back in (being a bit vague her to avoid spoiling anything)made me want to scream. Great film.

It's one of the best! (Memento)

I just saw Requiem For A Dream while at work last night. It's quite a film too. The sound effects alone are are astounding but combined with the visual direction, poigniant story and solid performances, it's made it onto my favourite list.

I agree though that this should maybe be in the other forum?

Say it ain't so! Robin Williams is one of the best actors in Hollywood today! Patch Adams is one of my favorite movies! I haven't seen Insomnia yet (don't have much of a life anymore with three kids), but I plan on renting it!
