...famous last words...
Donut, I was in the Lake district in a hotel when there was an eathquake-the staff ran outside to see if any roof tiles had fallen off which is a bloody stupid thing to do, IMO :D
And there was a mini-tornado in a coastal village a while back.
Not to worry, the largest amount of people from Britain killed in a eathquake is one; a brick fell on his head and he fell off his ladder :D

I felt it, the Damn thing took my signed and framed Eric Cantona picture off the wall, and I wasn't very happy lol. But I shouldn't moan many people suffered much greater damage, whole roofs coming off some houses.

True, but we have felt tremors from earthquakes in Sumatra...

I felt it!

Had just gone to bed when all of a sudden my bed started juddering! I leaped out of bed and stood in the hallway going "Did you feel that, it was a f*cking earthquake!"
My ceiling plaster cracked a bit, but no major damage.

Was 4.8 on Richter scale, more seismic activity expected over the next few days.

I once experienced terrible tremors where I live. It turned out that a couple living nearby were making love.

I must admit I didn't notice it at all. I was probably drunk, the ground moves around all the time when I'm like that...

The official injury count for the quake is apparently 1, an old lady who had to be treated for shock. Please forgive my lack of hysteria. ;)
