Don't look at the down side of the situation...its not your fault that they are morons who promote morons...let having worked for them be a boost to you for bigger and better things! *hugs* |
Use the hammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Might I suggest a 25 oz Dead On framing hammer, its black with a skull&crossbones on the side. I think you'll like it ;) While a sledgehammer might appear the best choice the framing hammer has far better speed and you'll be able to bash both your boss and his computer with perfect alacrity

I remember when I asked my wife to buy a "20oz." framing hammer and she went to the hardware store and asked for a "20lb." framing hammer. I can see it now...one swing of the hammer and the nail goes in before you hit it because of fear! :D Mark |

LOL @the hammer. instead of pounding in a nail i think it would pound in your wall leaving a pretty nice sized hole.

To be honest I haven't decided what to do yet, other than aggressively lookig for a better job

Few jobs leave nothing to complain about. Your company may be doing great, and you may deserve everything you didn't get. But, not all companies are doing fine, and your ability to replace your current job depends on how *other* places are doing, not how the one you'd be leaving is doing. Look for a new job - but be glad for what you've got in this economy if it's a decent job.
I don't know your wage or salary, your job duties, or anything at all about your job. To be sure, if your job is shitty, there are other shitty jobs out there. But, if anything about your job is not quite shitty. . . What I'm saying is that if you've been there 2 years and you really wanted the promotion, then the job must be one that's worth having. Those are tough to replace. Look around . . . but a bird in the hand, no? |
