Thanks, Ziroc. I saw a memorial in the paper a few days ago, with lists and photos of people who jumped. Very disturbing indeed.

Nice. My church is having a memorial service on Wednesday and today's service was to honor those who died in the attacks on 9-11.

my parents might take us down to the city to visit the emptiness of the WTC.And we'll probably go on the observation deck of the Empire State Building, just incase that goes down to. It sucks up in NY, everyone is so depressed this time of year, and i can't blame em.

Thank you for providing that link.

Karen and I had not seen most of those photos, and some were pretty tough to see.

What a sobering piece of work. In more ways than one.
May time truly heal us of the wounds so many of us still carry in our hearts over the events of that day.
May God and others forgive those who had a hand in them taking place.
God Bless the Heros and the Survivors.

What I find most heartrending, is the story I heard on NPR this morning about how many of the families of the victims who died on 9/11 are not taking it well.

No big surprise, their lives had become Hell. Now every time on the News they show the planes hitting the World Trade Center, they feel the pain all over again. The memorials bring no closure but remeberance of the day their loved ones were murdered. It was a very sad tragedy, so much so that I have a hard time seeing any of it. I can only think of the loss of life and the wives, husbands and children who are left without the ones they love.

I will observe a moment of silence for the ones who have died, but more for the ones who continue to live with the pain of what is gone from their lives.

Never again should innocents suffer at the hands of so callous an enemy. Never again should anyone die for another's misguided cause.

Thank you for reading.

Mark

Very moving, Mark, thanks for letting us read it. I'll follow your moment of silence. :(

Sorry for the bump, but I feel this needs to be on the first page today.

Mark
