Geforce 3. The G4MX is a rechipped G3. Maybe from the Ti range, im not sure, 128Mb sounds far to much for a G3MX board. And far far too much for anything G2 ever ran on. But why complain. Even the G4MX has some fairly serious power for most users. Those who insist on running brand new games and 200fps in max res with all the options woudnt get by with a G4MX, but most of us will not have a major problem for a few years.

ON pc-800 RAM - yes its expensive, but so was pc-133 back in the day. IN a couple years (upgrading time) pc-800 will be far more standard and probably wont cost a lot. Never judge future upgrade costs based on current pricing.

As far as value goes, im not sure on canadian dollars, but I think 2000 works out at around 1200 US? (This is probably embarrasingly far out). Which works out somewhere in the vague regioun if £800 UK. Assuming im not massively out its not that bad value. althogh I would pay far less (Why pay a monkey for labour when I can build it better meself? You really need to know what your doing in a P4 system though)

andrews - sorry to disagree but the GF4 MX cards are only updated GF2 cards & are not as good as the GF3's - go check any of the hardware review sites eg anandtech, tomshardware etc.
