Like Saz sez, don't worry about it Helspanth, there are no crayfish (or crawdads) in Greece. Think of something about the size of a very large shrimp and looking a good deal like one, but living in the creek down the street where my sons catch them, give them to Galadria, and she boils a whole bunch (or 'mess' as we like to say here) with spices, corn and new potatoes, and then drains them and pours them onto a lot of newspapers on the dining room table. Mm-mm, that's good eatin'. Make ya wanna slap yer pappy.
