I do get angry at how the law treats men -- especially fathers -- like DIRT in these cases. Verbal rants are about my only outlet. It's not about me baiting or flaming anyone here, it's about me shaking my fist in the air in frustration.

4 years I'm here and some people still can't figure out that you can't take this shit seriously. They're just words, people.

Tell you what. Next time you got a problem try emailing ME. If something so offends you that you're going to bother the mods, just ask me to remove it and I WILL. I have done it before and will do it again. I think it's silly to get so upset at some text on a screen, but if it sticks in your craw that badly, I'll pull the post. It ain't hard, folks.

Just FYI, it wasn't me that reported it. I'm well aware that it wasn't a serious post and anybody who expects TL to post without tongue firmly in cheek is due to be disappointed. I'm certain it wasn't a flame-bait, but TL has heard of PC and doesn't want any part of it. ;)

However, it's a pretty sensitive subject, hence my own refusal to play along. The scary thing is, I'm sure there's plenty of websites out there expressing the same views, but with utmost sincerity.

Well sitting in family court for countless sessions I say the courts are way to easy on the parent who does not want to be involved. There was one judge who demanded a father still get to see his child even though he had made documented death threats aginst the mother and child and was in jail for it. I have seen way too many men who admit all they want is to reduce thier child support so they go for more visitation hours only to have the kids call the mother to come and get them to take them to soccer or baseball or some other event because the father doesn't want to. There is a long way to go to make deadbeat parents accountable and we are not even close yet.

I don't know, nor do I speculate, as to who it was. I don't really care. Point is -- if I offend please take it up with me FIRST. Chances are I'll apologize, or at least begrudgingly remove said offending post.

I'm a bastard at heart, but I'm getting soft in my old age.
