<font color = lightgreen>According to the article, the claim is made that US buyers were responsible for more than half of the $224M in kick-backs. Let's suppose they were responsible for 2/3 of that amount, or about $150M. Out of the $8B Iraq made from the illegal sales that comes to a whopping 2%. [img]graemlins/erm.gif[/img] That hardly qualifies as a scandal.

It looks like the main thrust of this particular article comes from an investigation being spearheaded by a Democrat; most likely he is trying to somehow discredit the current administration. However, a vast majority of illegal activities relating to Iraq would have happened under Clinton's watch.</font>
