I have no idea what you just said, though you might be confusing nationality and race now. Jews make up the majority of Israel's population, however they do have an Arab minority.

I am not going to go into details why we attacked Iraq, but i agree with you about the war, we should never had to have been put in this postion in the first place, as for Sadam's rulings, would you live in a place that tortured the civalians just to see them suffer?

Well it was news to me that Rummy is Jewish - am I right in taking that as fact or not - there doesn't seem to be a lot of denial on that score. I knew about Wolfowitz and Perle and Fleischer already.

I still think it is a long bow to be drawing Desdicado. I don't think that that there was ever one single reason that stood out above the others. The conglomerate included :
* The existance of WOMD (the official reason we went to war)
* The liberating of the oppressed people (the reason that was later focussed on cos it played better to the masses)
* Saddam had been a thorn for long enough, and if someone is getting really really annoyed by a thorn they pull it out
* Oil - let's not delude ourselves that this wasn't on the list guys and gals - maybe it wasn't in thetop two or three, but people that want to ignore it totally as a reason are only fooling themselves
* Regional instability and the rise of religious fanatacism

Those aren't the only ones - there will be others and some will be honourable and some will be less so.
