It's looking to get even sadder...one member of the British military is shown on camera taking half-assed pokes at the ground with a pick axe while the scrawler reads that British officials are stating that the dungeons in southern Iraq (Basra and another city) "may have already been flooded leaving no hope of anyone getting out alive". They don't appear to even be trying in spite of the fact that the prisoners voices can still be heard.
Where the heck did the flooding come from? Why aren't they trying harder to save these Iraqi's lives?

I thought it was a "false" reporting.

Not sure but it sound's like a tragedy

Lil Lil 04-13-2003 01:26 AM

With a little more backbone, it doesn't have to be.

Mordenheim 04-13-2003 01:29 AM

Did you see it? What channel? That is suprising

Lil Lil 04-13-2003 01:31 AM

FOX...more information on the scrawler than there was in the report.

Mordenheim 04-13-2003 01:32 AM

Well that suck's

Things could change. (hoping anyway)
We are coming up on their "new day" reports.
What I was seeing in our early evening hours had taken place much earlier over there and it's already daylight in Iraq, Sunday, about 12 noon for them.
My room mate is watching something else right now so there is no chance of getting any update from me LOL.
