Using the 136,000 number that CNN did is what we call rounding off to the nearest thousand. Applying the same leeway to FOX and giving them the same benefit of the "rounding" philosophy then I guess you could say they rounded to the nearest 29,000 (what with 145,000 being closer to the exact number than 116,000 is).

Or you could just say (which is the thing you are avoiding saying) is that those turkeys can't add and subtract.

Maybe they were rounding UP to the nearest 14,500. ;)

Which just digs you deeper into the "silliness hole" JD ;) . See me, I take the approach that I acknowledge stoopidity no matter which side of the political divide it is and I am talking true stoopdity - not just a differing way of looking at things. I mightn't bring up issues from the other side, but when someone else does and they get discussed then I acknowledge stupid as stupid.

You are avoiding doing that, but your 14,500 remark is showing signs of being a well overdue concession.

Hey Davros..while you were watching FOX You should have been watching ABC and CBS...their math would have really given you the giggle fits

Lets just say...someone was NOT checking their arithmatic :D

I don't get those two MagiK - we just get CNN and FOX. Oh - and of course, CNNNN :D .

And the good thing MagiK (although you may have slipped from tackling the issue head on) is you didn't tie one foot to the floor by defending the indefensible - thanks for that. .

I wouldn't try to defed Fox's math any more than I would the ones I mentioned. I have been noticing for a decade or more, problems with basic math, grammar and spelling on the nightly news channels of all the networks

A less overdue (timewise) concession then the admittance that the people on FOX are just as Human as anybody else and therefore prone to making mistakes vs a conscienceious(sp?) effort to be deceitful.

Believe me Davros nobody in their right mind would pick them to be part of a conspiracy. ;)

In his acceptance speech, Barack Obama cited a woman who voted for him that was born in 1899, who saw the invention of many things in her life, including... the camera.

I checked out a bit of everyone--mostly Fox and NBC. Watching CBS was entertaining--I expected the guys in white coats to come any moment for Dan Rather.

"They're coming to take me away, ho ho ha ha hee hee!"
