Anytime The President is further than 1m from secret service, he is wired. The secret service do not give him answers to debate, they tell him when to duck, drop roll!

I think he was just glad to see Kerry.

Do you think they'd admit if he was? Personally, I doubt any president ever goes out in public without a vest anymore. They just don't want it publicized because the prez is supposed to appear fearless. JMO... I also have to agree that the most powerful man in the country would have access to smaller comm units.

Krunchy and Morgan, I'm rather liberal. Note that I took Bush's side here. How would you feel if I said conservatives do nothing but make generalizations about liberals all day long?

Much as I dislike Bush, I don't believe all this 'he was wearing a wire' stuff. I suspect it was nothing more than the zipper on his human costume.
