<font color="orange">The only reason Brett Hull plays for the States (he was born in Oakville, Ont, to a Canadian NHL great and an American mother) is because in the 1989 (I believe) Canada Cup, Canada cut him and, instead of being a good sport and cheering on his national team, he defected to the (then) much weaker American side, where he was assured a spot. You can have him. ;)

Hull was born in Ont. however he was raised in Chicago.
He came in with a Canadian team
He won his cups with American teams

Slightly off-topic, but here in Southern NZ I've met a great deal more Canadians than Americans, which might hint at the Canadian will to get out and travel the world a bit... Of all the Americans I've met, the vasy majority were West-Coasters, although a regular at the cafe I work at was from Boston, and he was really cool, he's finished his University studies here and moved back to Boston now [img]smile.gif[/img]
