<font color = lightgreen>NASA's only shortcoming is in its atmosphere of complacency. "oops. something else fell off" *shrug* What about the manufacturers of the shuttle components or the contractors in charge of maintenance (assuming those are not also NASA responsibilities)? And what of those who should properly fund the program? I agree--don't shoot the messengers for being the bearers of bad news.
