Yippee the eye of the Beholder games were some of my all time favourite games on the amiga, now i am going to have to save up for a Gameboy Advance lol |
Yeah here's the article- Infogrames today officially announced that they have secured the rights to create a game based on SSI's classic first-person roleplaying, Eye of the Beholder for the Game Boy Advance. Dubbed Dungeons & Dragons Eye of the Beholder, Infogrames' game will retell the classic story of its namesake and incorporate parts of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Third Edition Ruleset. New features include 60 standard 30 magical items, over 70 arcane and divine spells, skills and feats, seven races (Human, Half-Elf, Half-Orc, Lightfoot Halfling, Shield Dwarf, Moon Elf and Rock Gnome), NPC party members, four classes (Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Wizard), class advancement to the 7th level, first person exploration, top-down isometric combat (turn-based, in the style of Pool of Radiance), and new areas not found in the original game. Look for it this fall. D&D Eye of the Beholder is being developed by Pronto Games

It's public was limited to people who are really into RPG's and while We all loved that game a lot of other people didn't and besides the game didn;t sell a lot at start so it went down in price pretty soon |
Yeah, I enjoyed playing it, but the first time I picked it up, when it first came out, I was turned off by the description on the box, and I didn't play it until Galadria got into it, and I was so intrigued that I started a game of my own. Very unique, with great NPC's.
