Its the stupid line of the Day!!! Yay. Nobody deserves to be trampled for the type of music that they like. I enjoy some of Eminems music. I have seen things this like this happen at all kinds of concerts.

Too true Nick! What an utterly stupid thing to say, Hunter. Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Ever heard of the festival Roskilde, where a number of people were literally squashed to death as Pearl Jam played? If you want to lash out at anyone, lash out at the organisation for not taking accurate safety measures or at the herd mentality of the crowds in which these accidents happen.
Your all right except Hunter. Thats a horrible thing to happen to people; being sent to the hospital for being trampled. Even if you hate Eminem, which I do, it gives you no right to say that they deserved to be trampled. Its wrong.

I don't think making jokes about people who get hurt or die are funny, not in this way. Being crushed to death in a crowd is a terrible way to die and not as rare as you think. Can I make jokes about 9/11 then? Not that I'd even want to... but maybe that demonstrates my point.

Even if Hunter was joking, it was just dumb and mean.

If I ever go to another concert that might get outta hand...I am inviting Lord of Alcohol to come with me, seeing that the concert would be in Charlotte anyway. I'll stand in front of him...it'll be like having my back against a brick wall! Safety is secured.

It's also possible, answereing Chareans question of why they rushed the stage in the first place, is that they might have gotten drunk before the concert.

Could be any stupid reason. Some people just act stupid at concerts... all I'm saying is that it's sad others become the victim of that (it's usually not the pushers who get injured, it's the people who get pushed). Most gigs I visited were pretty ok in this respect. Most people don't believe it but at metal concerts, the crowd's actually watching out for eachother and taking care that no one gets hurt (maybe precisely because the audience is a little rougher than elsewhere)(in my experience anyhow). That's an attitude more people should adopt -there's nothing like an egoistic and grim audience to ruin your night out.

thanx Milamber , at least someone got the joke. Before everyone tells me how unfuny it was , I already read about it.

You are right, Hunter, if anybody else wants to jump on you, it should be considered spam or "band-wagon" attacking, as I like to call it. You may have slipped up with a few words, but now should be allowed now to make amends. I hope everybody can get back on-topic with the real reason this thread was created.

Well gee, sounds to me like concerts are dangerous to children..perhaps we should revoke the freedom of assembly so this wouldnt happen to our youths I guess this would be considered spam..but hey, if people are being hurt at certain types of events, maybe they deserve to be protected from such dangers?

I believe Hunter was making light of their musical preferences, not the fact that they died.

I'm not trying to take sides here, and I certainly don't think that it's funny that people die that way, but I believe there can be comedy in almost any situation, it just depends on how you look at things.
