no needd. these are easy ;) . Shadows at edge of vision, sometimes movements where none should be. Train your mind, become more than them. And absorb them ;) . They are NOTHING. They cannot harm you. But you can benefit from them, trust me ;)

Might be real, might be the mind playing tricks. Either way, here's the quick way to cure yourself of the heebie-jeebies. Every time you hear something that scares you, walk directly to the problem area. Walk right into the place you see as "the ghost". Concentrate on being calm and being firmly aware that you are in no danger. Stay there until your fear passes. Eventually you will force yourself to learn that there is no true danger and you will find peace. Fear breeds fear. Stand up to those fears and you will be better for it.

Ghosts huh? I personally dont see whats so scarry about them, mind you, I have never ran into one (I do believe in them though).
They cant harm you. Really. Think about it. But my advice is (if your a christain), Pray. Pray every night, hard, meaningful. Keep a Bible in your room. Keep God in your life basicly is what I am saying. If that doesnt work, trying consulting a preist. If that doesnt work, your insane, whehe |

SomeGuy, in all seriousness, if it's really disturbing you that much, it may be working you up into a panic that's exacerbating the situation, whatever may be causing it.
What I've recommended to people who have been experienced these kinds of terrors or phantasms is this: Sit calmly, and with your hands on your knees, palms upward. Then recite (to yourself, if not out loud): <font color="#ffffff">The Light of God surrounds me, The Love of God enfolds me, The Power of God protects me, Wherever I am, God is! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you."</font> Then take a deep breath and let it go. INCLUDING the fear. Repeat if necessary. I've rarely seen anyone need to do more than two applications to dispel the panic associated with such phenomena. Blessings, -Sazerac |

Where do you come from SomeGuy? :D :D :D :D :D I mean the depth of an elevator shaft might explain a few things.. </font> |
I'll assume this isn't a joke, SomeGuy.
Having never had the kinds of experiences you had, I do not really feel competent to offer any suggestions on what you can do. But I think you could perhaps try this. Try doing and thinking good things. The random act of kindness. Or thinking of how you can help others or bring happiness to others. Positive thoughts and fear can't and don't go together. Perhaps you can go a step further and think of those spirits as the object of your compassion, not your fear. If ghosts really exist, they can't be happy because the very fact that they haven't 'passed on' already implies that they're clinging onto something and unwilling to let go, that they feel they've got 'unfinished business'. Tell me if it works. [ 05-18-2002, 06:10 AM: Message edited by: K T Ong ] |
