Pardon my ignorance, but what does "Heading the Shot" mean?

Mark

The shot from the shot putt event! It's kind of heavy and I thought it would be interesting to watch them head it.

Heading is a term used in football, a bit like chesting but using your head instead of your chest. ;)

Great thread Mark!
Olympic Lap Dancing too funny
I'm all giggles!
How about an Olympic Hoe-down?!
Nothing like square-dancing, mind you...see George Clooney in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" for more details on technique.
;)

Oh and don't forget the Olympic Polka competition!!!

Off-topic: Donut; I only now notice that you removed the sentence: "Save Chip - Don't let Sarah win!" from your sig.. I always wondered what you meant by that..

Well... I'm not sure, I think each country should be able to use their creature of choice, I mean, I would be most at home with a good old armoured dwarf, but some like the swift aerodynamics of a goblin, or the smooth flight path of a halfling.

Briefly. Chip and Sarah were a couple, Chip wanted to go to football on saturday afternoons, Sarah wanted him to go shopping with her.

A British sports programme started the 'Save Chip' campaign as a joke and the campaign took off. People would take 'Save Chip' posters and banners to televised football matches and get them on the TV. This spread to other sports events, then non-sports events. Eventually Save Chip posters were turning up at sports events all around the world.

But they have dropped the campaign now. This was the last update
