Like I said, I hadn't seen any "Welcome" threads myself and we have gotten LOTS of new members. I realize many of them won't even visit this forum, but the ones that do are the ones that will most likely stick around. I just wanted to make sure the Welcome Mat was set-up before they got here.

Indeed, there's nothing wrong with a welcome thread! Hm, Sir ReGiN, you feeling ok, guy? That's not your usual cheerful self! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Truth to tell, I'd estimate probably about 5% of the members at IW are active in GD. Sir ReGiN is correct that most of them head off to the gaming forums. However, if they're not just one-shot posters, chances are likely that they'll at least head into GD and check out what's up. So "Welcome" threads are always welcome.
