Garnet,
I'm just checking to see if you have any new updates concerning your nephew. I would assume that he is home by now (hope so, anyway). Just wondered how he was doing. |
Thanks for asking, Cerek. I haven't heard anything in the past couple days but the last I did hear is that he had told his mom to get some crutches 'cause he was more than ready to go home!
He resists bending the leg at all, which displeases the drs. of course, but then again the kid is in immense pain. They have had him begin physical therapy of sorts, I know. So all in all, he's dong quite well. |
Garnet,
I'm glad to hear he is feeling better. I knew the doc's would have P.T. come to his room the day after surgery (standard procedure). And I also know that they (Physical Therapy) are the LAST people you want to see when you feel like that. Everything they want to do HURTS!!! The fact that it's for his own good doesn't make it any easier and it's hard for anybody to deal with that level of pain. He's gonna need that "stubborn streak" to get through this next year. My thoughts and prayers are with him (and the rest of your family). |
