The first Binky was a kid who was an American vaudeville onstage sidekick to a comic, a line and routine feeder. Then "Binky" became standard acting slang for any kid used onstage in that matter, usually an ignorant, innocent little runt.

Which makes it all the funnier when Jan, in BG2, addresses the large, evil Saverok (after he's joined your party) continuously as "Binky." :D

Ah, From My Memory There Is Also Another Binky. In One Of The Harry Potter Books, I cant Remember Who (I Think It Was Lavender Brown). Anyway, This Certain Girl Had A Rabbit Called Binky... Who Died!!

another binky was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the cartoon, in the first episode with Slash, Binky was his Palm tree.
