This is response to the rainforest sillyness posted above...

You know I thought everyone had heard what a crock the "Endangered Rainforest" thing was, guess he hasn't heard that it was all a load of bull riddled with misinformation and lies..aahhhh well You know the other day I was flying my private lear jet over the rainforest and I saw Ronald in there whackin trrees for no reason at all....

Good grief at least if you are going to be a bleeding heart liberal eco-nut do it for a cause that is at least semi based on truth.

And im getting my information from multiple reliable sources.

I wish I had some lofty ideal that dictated my decision to not go there. It would be nice to not go there for the rainforests or something, but in truth, I just can't stand the food. Their burgers really aren't that good compared to most fast food chains.

Well, they're better than the ones at Burger King. About the only fast food chain in the Netherlands there is asides hundreds of McDonalds restaurants...

Well I hate to tell you guys this but Mcdonald’s is the only restaurant we have here. So I got there almost every day for lunch. Yeah shame on me. Yes, I’d rather eat somewhere else too, but I repeat it’s the *only* restaurant we have here. That’s why Mcdonald’s is outlawed when I go to the states.

Dreamer, I'm lost. Why would McDonalds want to cut down rain forests? Is sawdust what they cut the ground beef in their burgers with? ;)

Here's another goodie. A big Mac Xtra value meal (regular size) with a coke and an apple pie for dessert have all the calories an average person needs for an entire day and less than half of a lot of the vitamins and minerals you need. Keep those multi-vitamins handy!

Ok everyone, some reasons NOT to eat at Mcdonalds.-The killing of millions of animals, they get no sunlight, can´t move in their tight cages and hardly get any fresh air. Eating meat is our choice, but the animals that get exported don´t have one.
-The exploiting of third world countries.
Every year, millions of people die due to lack of food. Still, company´s like Mcdonals export massive amounts of food from those countries to the U.S. (From the 40 poorest countries in the world, 36 export food to the U.S) This is used as food for the cattle. The ground needed for this food can be used better. Like to harvest their own food!
The animals that Mcdonalds use in their burgers gets fed every year with 145 milion tons of grain and sodo. Only 21 milion tons of eatable meat comes out of this, meaning a waste of over 124 ton a year with a value of 20 biljon U.S dollars! With this money alone, you can feed, dress and provide shelter for the intire world population for a period of a year.
-The poluting of the enviroment.
-At the current rate, all rainforests will be gone in 50 years!
Mcdonalds uses this ´cheap farmground´to harvest Soda and other suplies they need to feed their animals! In a few years, this ground will become useless and even more woods will be chopped down.
They also produce thousands of tons of unnecasery waste, only a minor portion of the kitchen waste gets recycled.
- Abuse of their employes.
Mcdonalds pays lousy and gives even worse labor conditions.
They also do everything to prevent the founding of unions and in most countries they get away with it. As soon as the personal starts to organize, they sack everyone and start over again a few streets away. Most people have to take this abuse since they can´t find a better job.

I got another one! I got another one! A McDonalds milk shake is not just milk that has been shaked about a bit in a tumble drier like i was led to beleive, it has chicken fat in, so NO McD's MILKSHAKE FOR VEGGIES! [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img]
