Jerome, of course! I proofread all my boyfriend's essays for his masters in English Lit so it's no problem at all!
Just send me the story in a Word doc! The address is the_new_helen@hotmail.com

I'd love to help out as this is one of the few stories I've read here that really impressed me

Very good Jerome. Your description of the weather and the schools in Scotland was great. While I was reading the start of it I was thinking about the weather yesterday night. It was exactly how you described it. I dinna quite bide in Glasgee, I bide near Aberdeen. No jokes about sheep ;) .
I wasn't expecting the ending it was very dramatic. You definitely have a career as a writer a head of you if you keep the good idea's flowing.

Good story, and I definitely don't say that often. It was very well constructed and it presented very stong imagery that I feel you used well. I have to say I enjoyed the underlying meaning in the story as well, as the story itself. I don't think any of us view all people as we should. Maybe that's something we should all be a little more subjective about.

Jerome, I just sent you back the corrected copy yesterday night *yawns and rubs eyes* ;)
Hope it will be of use to you

I know... Scottish weather is great.... as long as you aren't the poor bugger that has to go out in it. ;)

Lol, indeed it is very evil. PE teachers seem to like watching frozen peole play football on grass that feels more like rocks. I was really happy that i got a cup of tea while i was out side during my many smoke breaks today. I work across the road from the docks in Aberdeen and that just makes it colder.

Ach, you don't know Mouse do you? He's another of our embittered Scots clan.... and he comes from Aberdeen too... *tries to withold sheep jokes*
