To be perfectly honost, the price on your system sounded a little high to me (until I noticed the CDWR drive - that helps). I am currently looking to upgrade my system and my college roommate hooked me up to a store in Norcross, GA where I could purchase a 100mh 40gb hd machine with 256ram and a CDWR drive for $600 (that includes a 17" monitor)
There is a fellow I work with that offered me a 533mh machine with only 4.3gb hard drive and 64ram for $275, but that also includes the monitor.

If your neighbor likes the price, then it sounds fair to me.

I certainly don't want to rip him off. He is a buddy. In that case, I think a total of $300 including the price of the monitor is probably fair. He gave me $50 for the monitor already, so $250 left on the pay-off. I'm also including the time to custom install and configure the system for him, plus retreive the data from his old PCs hard drive. What do you think? A good buddy deal?
